Weekly Menu

Disclaimer:  This is the same menu that I posted over at Chick Chat This and That.

I cannot believe summer is winding down and the kids are getting ready to start school.  Where has the summer gone?  Belle is off visiting family in St. Louis right now and will miss her scheduled orientation – the good news is now that she can drive she can take care of it herself!  Michael finished up his summer job last Friday and is not only getting ready t0 go back to school but to move out as well!

Michael has been going to school here in town so he’s lived at home since he graduated (he’s 22).  Living at home as been a HUGE help financially as he doesn’t have any school loans.  On the flip side, he’s chomping at the bit to leave the nest.  He found three other friends that wanted to move in so they rented a house.  We’ve had a lot of fun shopping for kitchen staples and helping him create meal plans that are easy and affordable for the guys.  I told him that he could be fodder for a whole slew of new posts!

This is going to be a little bit of a funky week for us, plus our grill isn’t working properly, so I’m going to keep it a little on the easy side.
